My 1st UG mentee @wlunews accepted an offer to pursue her PhD @UniversityofIl working on primate #microbiomes. She came into my microbiome class my 1st year as faculty planning on vet school & was inspired to do #research in my lab & hasn't looked back. So proud!

Used the #thankamicrobe idea of
Anne Estes @ Townson to teach my upperclass #microbiology students how we benefit from microbial metabolisms & it was awesome! Posted them in our dept and have thoroughly enjoyed catching visitors, staff & students reading them! See a few examples:
